Job requirements:

Language: English
Education: High School or equivalent
Experience: 5 years of related experience
Work Setting: Residential, Commercial, Construction, Renovation, Custom Work, Assembly
Work Site Environment: Noisy, Dusty, Outdoors
Work conditions and physical capabilities: Bending, Crouching, Kneeling, Handling heavy loads (Up to 45 kg (100 lbs))
Personal suitability: Team player, Judgement, Reliable , Accurate, Dependability, Excellent oral communication, Flexibility, Organized, Efficient interpersonal skills
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
Supervision: 1-2 people
Security and Safety: Drug and Alcohol Test

Duties:

Lead and coordinate the framing crew on-site
Frame walls, floors, and roof systems per blueprints and specs
Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings accurately
Must be able to independently build a house from drawings, materials, and equipment
Train or arrange and oversee apprenticeship training
Recommend measures to improve productivity
Supervise workers and/or contractors, and projects, to keep the job on schedule
Measure, cut, and assemble lumber and building materials
Install sheathing, trusses, joists, and structural components

Perform same duties as workers supervised
