Job Placement

For individuals that are ready to work but might be struggling landing a job, the Job Placement Program can be a great resource. Working with one of our Career and Employment Experts, job seekers develop a skills profile and examine potential work options that match those skills. Next the MCG team will market the client to potential employers and arrange for interviews. Once an interview is secured the client will undergo interview skills training. The client’s Career Coach will help negotiate terms of employment (hours of work, wages, start date) once a job offer has been made. For the next six months that Job Placement Coach will remain in contact with the client and employer and will offer job maintenance supports such as on-site-mentors, creating accommodations or actions as a mediator between employee and employer to ensure employment suitability.
