MCG Careers is currently seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our Foothills team as our Career & Employment Services Program Manager!

What You’ll Bring:

  • Post-secondary degree in a relevant field or a Certified Career Development Practitioner (CCDP) Designation
  • Experience with Government funded programs is an asset
  • At least 3 years of supervisory experience within employment services
  • Demonstrated leadership in supporting and working with diverse Job Seeker groups
  • Experience working in a client-based industry
  • Facilitation skills/Adult Learning Knowledge
  • Communication & problem-solving skills, exceptional negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Interviewing and assessment training
  • Experience in public relations, communications with funding groups, marketing
  • Experience with managing budgets, cost recovery, and funding applications
  • Computer proficiency with working knowledge of MS Office Suite and using web-based software
  • Certification in Trauma Informed Care, ATIA, and POPA

What You’ll Do:

  • Oversee daily program operations
  • Lead and develop the team
  • Complete month-end reporting with accuracy and precision
  • Conduct regular team meetings to ensure the flow of communication
  • Maintain strong communication with senior leaders
  • Ensure compliance with privacy and safety regulations

Note: This position is based in our High River and Okotoks offices. The successful candidate will be required to split their time between both locations.
