Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • We are currently seeking to fill a full-time Receptionist and Accounting assistant. As the initial contact for the public, the primary responsibilities are:
  • answer the multi-line switchboard;
  • direct calls to various individuals as requested;
  • receive and sort all incoming mail;
  • welcoming all incoming guests and clients and direct them to the appropriate contacts;
  • handle the incoming and outgoing Fed Ex scheduled deliveries;
  • Postal and Fed Ex supply ordering; and
  • general office administrative work.
  • This position also supports the Accounts Receivable/Payables administration for the Western Tent & Awning Group, handling the invoicing and receiving payment.

Qualifications & Skills Required

  • 2+ years Reception experience, with Accounts Receivable/Payable experience an asset
  • High school Diploma or equivalent, with Administrative education an asset,
  • Proficiency in Office 365 tools,
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills,
  • Experience with problem solving under pressure,
  • Strong organizational skills and above average ability to work well with others.
  • The ability to work under pressure independently, as well as a high level of organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and demands are vital to the continued success in this role. The role also requires a punctual and attentive individual with the desire to assist where needed.

Location:

  • Sprung Instant Structures Ltd is located in Aldersyde, about 10 km southwest of Okotoks. The successful candidate must have reliable transportation to and from our facility. This role is not eligible for sponsorship; candidates must be eligible to work in Canada at the time of application.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm
  • Please note due to the nature of the role and the need for coverage during breaks there will be no set lunch break time for this role. The hour lunch break will vary between the hours of 11 am – 2 pm.

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Aldersyde, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
