Parklawn Granite is seeking a hardworking, dedicated person to join our team. Casual position 3-4 days per week 8-9 months per year.
Job Types: Part-time, Casual, Seasonal
- Contract length: 8 months
- Pay: $16.43-$29.33 per hour
- Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
- Benefits: Extended health care
- Schedule: Day shift, Evening shift, Monday to Friday, Morning shift, Weekends as needed
- Work Location: In person
Qualifications: The ideal candidate must:
- Have a valid driver’s license,
- must be able to drive a manual transmission vehicle,
- have strong communication and organizational skills,
- be comfortable with computers and have some basic design experience.
- Building relationships is a key component of this job.
- You will be required to work indoors and outdoors in all types of weather. This is a physically demanding job.
Duties
- Design monuments, columbarium doors
- Order product
- Complete and submit relevant paperwork prior to installation of monuments
- Perform installations of monuments according to specifications and guidelines.
- Ensure all tools and equipment are in good working condition before starting installation tasks.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the installation process, providing solutions as necessary.
- Always maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the yard
- Communicate with families to ensure their needs are met and provide updates on project progress.
- Communicate with staff from two funeral home locations.
- Document installation processes and report any discrepancies or challenges encountered.
