- Salary: $34.00 to $35.40 per hour, to be negotiated based on experience. Salary increases as per company policy.
- Hours: 40-50 hours per week (Sunday to Thursday)

- Languages: English
- Education: No education required
- Experience: No experience required. The company will provide training on GPS and e-Logs.
- Credentials (certificates, licenses, memberships, courses, etc.): Air Brakes Endorsement, Driver’s License (Class 1 or A). A driving test must be passed before hiring.
- Security and Safety: Criminal record check, Driver’s validity license check, Driving record check (abstract)
- Type of Trucking and Equipment: Refrigerated, Tractor-trailer
- Transportation/Travel Information: Provincial, Long-haul, Regional; Willing to travel for extended periods, Willing to travel overnight, travel expenses paid by employer.
- Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding, Handling heavy loads up to 23 kg/50 lbs (Hand-bombing), Sitting for extended periods of time, Large workload, Repetitive tasks.

- Documentation Used: Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip), Driver logbook, Bill of lading, Accident or incident reports, Trip reports, Maintenance and repair reports
- Communication systems: Citizens band (CB) radio, Operate GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipment
Duties:
- Perform preventive maintenance
- Drive manual transmission vehicle
- Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
- Perform brake adjustments
- Professionalism in customer service
- Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
- Perform emergency roadside repairs
- Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
- Perform pre-trip, en-route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
- Receive and relay information to central dispatch
- Load and unload goods
