Food Store Supervisor

- Employment terms and conditions: Full-Time (40-45 hours per week), permanent, morning, day, weekend, overtime (during the busy season, hours may increase up to 9 hours a day)

Job requirements:
- Language: English
- Education: High School
- Experience: 1 year related experience
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Standing for extended periods; Fast-paced environment; Repetitive tasks; Work under pressure
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, Team player, Dependability, Initiative, Ability to multitask
- Work setting/area of work: Butcher shop/Grocery store
Duties:
- Supervise and coordinate sales staff and cashiers (3-4 people)
- Assign sales workers to duties and prepare work schedules
- Authorize payments and the return of merchandise
- Maintain specified inventory and be in charge of ordering product
- Train staff on cashier duties and cleaning tasks
- Ensure the visual standards and image of the store are maintained, such as store displays, signage, and cleanliness
- May perform the same duties as workers supervised
- May perform managerial duties if required, such as opening and closing the store, handling bank deposits, and responding to complaints
- Developing and implementing marketing strategies
