Job Requirements:

• Language: English
• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 3 years of related experience. An equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience may be considered
• Area of specialization: Locksmith, alarm/security, and surveillance systems
• Equipment and machinery experience: Hand tools, Power tools
• Worksite environment: Noisy, Dusty, At heights, Hot, Wet/dump, Outdoor
• Work Setting: On-site customer service, Remote location, Rural area, Urban area
• Working conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Physically demanding, Working under pressure; Ability to distinguish
  between colors, Attention to detail, Hand-eye coordination, Handling heavy loads (lifting up to 50 lbs), Manual dexterity. Standing for extended
  periods, Bending, crouching, kneeling, Combination of sitting, standing, walking
• Personal suitability: Accurate, Client-focused, Organized, Team player
• Security and safety: Criminal record check, Basic security clearance
• Transportation/travel information: Valid driver’s license
• Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots

Duties:

• Install, repair, and adjust locks
• Install, repair, and service safes and vaults
• Installs maintain and repair alarm security and surveillance system equipment
• Inspect and test electronic equipment and assemblies
• Diagnose and locate circuit, component, and equipment faults
• Complete work orders, test and maintenance reports
• Install hardware such as knobs and hinges
• Operate security control room equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints (property plans)
• Clean and maintain workspace
• Job Location: Based on B5 416 Meridian Road SE, Calgary, AB, T2A 1X2; but required to work in various locations in the Calgary area. The employer will provide a vehicle
• Salary: $31.50 – 33.00 per hour. Salary increases as per company policy
• Benefits: Dental, Extended Medical
• Terms and conditions of employment: Permanent, full-time (40 hours/week); Mornings, Days, Evenings, Weekends, Overtime
• Start date: As soon as possible
