- Job Location: Based in Calgary. Saunders Landscaping has sites located at various locations in Calgary and surrounding areas. Travel to Edmonton and other locations in Alberta may be required. All work is performed outdoors. Travel expenses are paid as per company policy
- Wage: $24.00 – $30.00 / hour (based on skills and experience/salary increases as per company policy)

- Employment terms and conditions: Seasonal employment, Full-time, 40 to 60 hours per week (weather-dependent), Morning, Days, Weekends, Overtime.

Job Requirements:
- Language: English
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required
- Experience: 2 years of related experience
- Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, Hard hat
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail, Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Manual dexterity, Bending, crouching, kneeling, Repetitive tasks, a combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods
- Work Site Environment: Outdoors, Work in all kinds of weather
- Personal Suitability: Reliability, Organized, Team player, Effective interpersonal skills
- Area of Specialization: Landscape design, Landscape construction, Landscaping plant knowledge and identification, Fences, Decks
- Construction Specialization: Interlocking brick, Automated irrigation system, Retaining Walls
- Work Setting: Landscape contractor
- Landscaping experience: Commercial and/or industrial construction, Institutional construction
Duties:
- Plant and move trees
- Plan and construct landscaped environments which may include trees, shrubberies, lawns, fences, decks, patios, and other landscape structures
- Prepare base for and install pavers
- Plan the leveling and grading of loam
- Install, operate and repair irrigation systems
- Construct fences, decks, and pergolas
- Construct retaining walls
- Read and interpret blueprints
- Landscaping plant identification
- Mentor labourers
- Abide by Saunders Landscaping safety program
