- Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment, tight deadlines, repetitive tasks
- Worksite environment: Outdoor, underground, confined spaces, dangerous
- Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding, mentally alert, able to work long hours (8-13 hours/day), attention to detail, handling heavy loads (lift up to 50 lbs), manual dexterity, combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, kneeling
- Personal Suitability: Reliability, flexibility, team player, efficient interpersonal skills
- Own tools/equipment: CSA-approved safety boots
Duties:
- Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials
- Mix, pour, and spread materials
- Level earth to fine-grade specifications
- Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
- Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction
- Direct traffic at or near construction sites
- Clean and pile salvaged materials
