Job requirements:

repetitive tasks, Handling heavy loads , Physically demanding, Manual dexterity, Ability to distinguish between colours, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, kneeling - Personal Suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills, Flexibility, Organized, Reliability, Team player
- Area of Specialization: Landscape maintenance
- Equipment: Power lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, pruners
Duties:
- Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens,
- Apply fertilizers, fungicides, herbicides, pesticides and other lawn care products,
- Apply various treatments such as pruning, spraying, repairing damaged areas and injecting with treatment solutions,
- Plant and maintain private and public lawns and gardens,
- Plant and move trees,
- Weed, prune and trim trees and plants,
- Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs and trees
- Remove litter and garbage
- Cutgrass,
- Cart and spread topsoil and other materials by hand or wheelbarrow
- Rake and collect refuse,
- Lay sod/seed/mulch
- Install mulch and other decorative rock
- Safely and Effectively use push mowers, trimmer, blowers and ride on mowers)
- Assist with hand leveling/grading loam (shoveling/raking)
- Understand and follow the Landform Safety Program
- Be equipped and able to work in all weather conditions
Job Location: Various locations in the Calgary, AB area. Travel expenses paid by employer.
Wage: $20.00 – $ 22.00/hour (based on skills and experience, Salary increase as per company policy)
Employment terms and conditions: Seasonal Employment, Full time, 40 to 72 hours per week (hours are weather-dependent), Overtime, Early morning, Morning, Day, Weekend
