Area of Work Experience: Demolition, Excavation, Rough grading, Slopping and banking, Fine grading, Backfilling, Land clearing, Landscaping, Slope grooming, Material handling, Snow removal, Stock piling
Work Site Environment: Outdoors, Dusty, Noisy
Work setting: Construction, Sidewalks and curbs, Residential construction, Landscape maintenance
Type of heavy equipment operated: Backhoe excavator, Loader, Concrete spreader, Front end loader
Work Condition: Fast-paced environment, Overtime when operations require
Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail, Physically demanding
Personal Suitability: Flexibility, Accurate, Client focus
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
Driver’s Licence: Must be able and willing to obtain driver’s license before commencing employment
Duties:
- Operate heavy equipment
- Clean and lubricate equipment and refill equipment tanks
- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment
- Secure special attachments to equipment
- Perform minor repairs to equipment
- Load, move, sort and pile materials and supplies
- Operate power vibrators to compact concrete
- May be required to perform landscaper labourer duties such as operating and maintaining power mowers, tractors, chain saws, electric clippers, sod cutters, pruning saws, snow blowers, and other landscape maintenance equipment
- May be required to do ground maintenance work during the winter months, including snow removal

Job Locations: Required to work in various locations in the Calgary area and surroundings
Wage: $32.00 to $35.00/ hour, based on experience. Salary increases as per company policy
Employment terms and conditions: Permanent, Full-Time, 30-60 hours/week (weather dependent), Early morning, Day, Weekend, Evening, Overtime
