Job requirements:

Duties:

  • Plant and maintain private and public lawns and gardens
  • Plant and move trees; plant bulbs, flowers and shrubs
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens
  • Plan and construct landscaped environments which may include trees, shrubberies, lawns, fences, decks, patios and other landscape structures
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
  • Cart and spread topsoil and other materials
  • Load, unload and transport construction materials
  • Assist with landscape construction
  • Assist with landscape construction
  • Install pavers and retaining walls
  • Assist heavy equipment operators
  • Lay sod and spread seed; weed; cut grass
  • Job Location: Based at 242144 112 St, De Winton AB, T0L 0X0, but required to work in various locations in the Calgary area (Airdrie, Chestermere, Okotoks, Cochrane)
  • Wage: $22.00 – $26.00 per hour
  • Employment terms and conditions: Seasonal Employment; Full time (55 hours per week);Overtime; Monday to Friday, 7am-6pm; and every other
  • Saturday. Hours may vary depending on weather
  • Vacancies: 12
  • Anticipated start date: Spring 2023 (Actual start date is weather-dependent)
