The Day Camp Co-ordinator reports to the Events Lead


Job overview:


Candidates will have a passion for and enjoy working with children ages 5-12 providing engaging and creative programs and activities ensuring both physical and emotional safety and well being.


This position involves assisting in planning and facilitating of day camps, family activities in the campground, Kidd Ranch field trips and birthday parties.

This position also involves assisting the Event Co-ordinator with the running of tournaments, markets, leagues and other events as required at Aspen Crossing.


Education and Experience

Experience working with children in camps, recreation or in a related field an asset.

Applicants currently enrolled in child related education fields will be given preference.


Successful candidate will be required to provide a recent Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Background Screen

  • Maintain confidentiality of Aspen Crossing operations including personal pay.
  • Possess general knowledge of all aspects of Aspen Crossing including all train excursions, campground, caboose cabins, Diefenbaker dinning car, Berquist House Tavern, greenhouse, Mothers Day, Fathers day train days, Musicfest, Train of Terror, Christmas market and Polar express.
