What You Will Be Doing/ Key Accountabilities

  • Show up for work fit, rested and non-fatigued.
  • Ensure that the BURNCO assigned equipment is in good working order with no reportable defects.
  • Ensure you have inspected all required tools PPE for the day.
  • Perform a FLRA prior to commencing work on each jobsite your assigned too.
  • Ensure all hazards are eliminated prior to commencing work.
  • Assist the pump operator in setting the pump up. (Clearing lumber, fencing, etc.)
  • Assist pump operator mixer drivers with traffic controls.
  • Access egress jobsites safely.
  • Place and finish walls and or footings.
  • Clean up site after pour as required.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by your supervisor.

 

Key Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience working with Ready Mix Concrete.
  • Good communication and people skills.
  • Valid Driver’s License. Class 5.
  • Must physically fit and able to work in adverse weather conditions (heat, snow, cold, rain)
  • Able to work around heavy machinery.
