Regional Manager – Downtown Calgary


§ Certificate/Diploma/Degree in related discipline; CCDP Designation or a Specialized Career Development Certificate

§ Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Management Role

§ Five plus years’ experience in Career Development and in supporting Government Funded programs preferred.

§ Possess Knowledge of work search strategies and labour market information.

§ Project Management

§ Human Resource planning experience

§ Strong decision-making and conflict resolution skills

§ Strong written and oral communication skills

§ Forecasting and tracking experience

§ Curriculum design and development and competency assessment knowledge

§ CDPP designation an asset

Duties to Include:

§ Overall Management of the designated Calgary Region

§ Managerial Decisions / Problem Solving

§ Project Management / Outcome Management

§ Project Budget Monitoring

§ Human Resources Strategy (attracting, training, engaging, developing, retaining)

§ Performance/Team Management and staff career development

§ Performance Reviews

§ Coaching/Mentoring

§ Negotiation & Consensus-Building

§ Government Liaison

§ Community Relationship Building

§ I.T. Management Strategy / Systems (computers, cell phones, office machines, security systems, etc.

§ Leading Organizational Change

§ Operational Leadership / Performance Improvement

§ Marketing Planning

§ Recruitment Planning

§ Events / Networking Planning
