Facilitator/Lab Instructor

Information & Communication Technology

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Certification in A+, Network+, and/or Security+
  • 2-3 Years’ experience in the IT industry
  • Knowledge of the IT/ICT Industry
  • Energetic, optimistic, confident, adaptable
  • Good communication skills; Problem solving; Public speaking
  • Excellent in assisting clients to meet personal and employment goals
  • Knowledge of community agencies

Position Pillars include:

  • Monitor & assist with ICT practical application labs to ensure competency in each skill area
  • Provide 1:1 support to participants to ensure success in the ICT industry
  • Meet with IAB to ensure program is relevant and current to the ICT industry
  • Network with employers to continue to expand the IAB board
  • Presentation to community and service agencies
  • Development of marketing plan including distribution of program marketing materials
  • Motivate the clients to seek employment and to strive for success
